Battery Backups & Power Supplies

DC UPS Solution

The PULS UC-Series are DC-UPS utilizing Electrochemical Double Layer Capacitor (EDLC), commonly known as Ultracapacitors or Supercapacitors, which are installed inside the DC-UPS. They can bridge power failures or voltage fluctuations and supply voltage to the DC 24V bus for a certain period, which allows for a safe shut-down of the system. Expensive downtimes, long restart cycles and loss of data can be avoided.

The PULS UF20 buffer module is a supplementary device for regulated DC 24V power supplies, which can be used for various purposes: – Deliver DC-power to bridge failures of the DC voltage supply system. – Extend the hold-up time after loss of the AC power. – Deliver extra short-term peak current above the current rating of the power supply.
